While our software remains open source under AGPL license (see Why open source), the Gratheon brand and logo are protected trademarks. EU trademark registration filed December 2025 (Nice classes 9, 42, 7)

Gratheon™ is a pending European Union trademark of Gratheon OÜ, filed December 2025 under Nice Classification classes:

• Class 9:: Electronic monitoring apparatus and instruments for beehives; weighing scales for beehives; temperature and humidity sensors; video cameras for monitoring beehive entrances; robotic apparatus for beehive inspection; downloadable mobile applications for beehive management; downloadable computer software for apiary data analysis; IoT (Internet of Things) sensors.
• Class 42:: Software as a service (SaaS) services featuring software for beehive management and monitoring; cloud computing services for apiary data storage and analysis; platform as a service (PaaS) featuring computer software platforms for apiary management; artificial intelligence as a service (AIaaS) featuring software using artificial intelligence for analyzing bee behavior and health; providing temporary use of online non-downloadable software for beehive data analytics; scientific research and analysis services in the field of apiculture.
